Overview

Convert Smart is a unit converter app for iPhone. It does not require an account or sign-in, and it does not track you.

Your conversions stay on your iPhone

Every conversion is calculated on your device using Apple's built-in measurement frameworks. Convert Smart has no server that receives what you type or what you convert, and none of it is ever sent to AppsRocket or any third party.

The app stores only small preferences on your device, such as the last conversion shown in the widget. There is no account system and nothing is synced to us.

iOS may include app data in an iCloud or computer backup depending on your device settings. This is controlled by Apple and your settings, not by Convert Smart.

No tracking

Convert Smart does not track you. It never requests the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA), does not use App Tracking Transparency because no data is used to track you across apps or websites, and contains no analytics SDKs.

Advertising

The free version of Convert Smart shows small banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob in some countries. These ads are non-personalised. No ads are shown to users on European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland App Store accounts.

To serve and measure ads, Google may process limited technical information from your device, such as your IP address and general device information. This processing is described in Google's privacy documentation.

An optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase permanently removes all advertising. The purchase is processed by Apple, and AppsRocket never sees your payment details. Where no ads are shown, the purchase is not offered.

Data we do not collect

Convert Smart does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information. There is no account system, no analytics, and no data linked to your identity.

Children

Convert Smart is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

This website

The statements above describe the app. This website (appsrocket.com) is separate: it uses Google Analytics to count page visits, and only if you accept cookies. If you decline, nothing is loaded and nothing is measured. Details are on the AppsRocket legal page.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be made available at this URL before the corresponding app update is released.
